Qatar's beach volleyball team (Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan) beat Australia (Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher) on Thursday (2-0) in the third and last match of the group stage at the Olympics Paris 2024. Younousse and Tijan scored (21-14) in the first set and (21-18) in the second. This marks the third consecutive win for the duo who managed to lead the group standing and secure a spot in the Round of 16. They previously beat Italy (Paolo Nicolai and Samuele Cottafava) (2-0) and Sweden (David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig) (2-1). Source: Qatar News Agency
