Homs, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Firas Qaddour, has inaugurated the industrial grease production line at Homs Refinery Oil Blending Plant, with a production capacity of up to 1,500 tons annually. The line is the first of its kind in Syria in terms of modern equipment and production capacity, and aims to provide all types of industrial greases (calcium, sodium, lithium, graphite and thermal grease) in accordance with international norms and standards. The plant includes an advanced laboratory that contains all modern equipment and experienced technicians, and is certified to conduct and match all types of imported or locally produced oils, greases and investment liquids. The Minister of Petroleum stressed that this line is one of the important economic projects that support the national economy, as the materials produced will be sold at an economical and competitive price, around 15 percent lower than local market prices.
