Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that Israel's crimes will not remain unanswered, explaining that Israel, with the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, has proven once again that it is not committed to any international standards. Pezeshkian said in statements issued today, Sunday, that the claims of America and European countries about reaching a ceasefire agreement in the event that Iran refrains from responding to the assassination of the martyr Haniyeh in Tehran were false. He added that giving such criminals the opportunity encourages them to commit more crimes. The Iranian President also stressed that "the resistance fighters should not be left alone for the Israeli entity to continue its crimes and attack the countries of the axis of resistance one after the other." Pezeshkian also held the Arab and Islamic countries "a great responsibility towards this tragedy," stressing that they "should not stand idly by to watch Israel's crimes as they endanger the security of the region."
