Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, discussed with the European Union Ambassador to Iraq, Thomas Seiler, the signing of a number of agreements in the development, environmental and economic fields. The Ministry stated in a statement: 'During the meeting, which was attended by Director General of International Cooperation Saher Abdel Kadhem Mahdi, a number of files and issues of common interest, and ways to develop cooperation mechanisms between the two sides, were discussed.' The two sides discussed the possibility of signing a number of agreements in the field of environmental protection, by improving the management of water resources and land cultivation, with funding from the European Union, in addition to discussing the union plan in Iraq for the period 2025-2027, which focuses on economic reforms, developing human capabilities, and rationalizing Water use, attention to the health and education sectors, focus on female education in rural areas, and joint work to address t he causes of migration.
