Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed that Iraq has many investment opportunities offered to international companies, welcoming the participation of British institutions and companies in various sectors, especially energy, industry, agriculture, and other vital sectors. A statement from his media office said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, today, Tuesday, the British Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen. The statement added that, during the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom were discussed, and mechanisms for working to strengthen and expand them in various fields, in a way that achieves mutual benefit and common interests between the two countries. The statement explained that during the meeting, Al-Sudani touched on the importance of enhancing stability in the region, and the destabilization of security and threat of the spread of conflict caused by the aggression in Gaza, reiterating the need for international powers and internatio nal organizations to assume their responsibilities in stopping the genocide against our steadfast Palestinian people.
