Babylon Police closed Bab al-Mashhad area in central Hilla after receiving information about the presence of a mass grave belonging to the victims of the Shaabaniya Uprising in 1991. Babylon Police Information Director, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, 'Eyewitnesses and documents proved the existence of a mass grave belonging to the victims of the previous regime, who were killed in the maternity hospital and buried in this place.
