A security source announced the dismissal of a senior officer against the backdrop of the events of Muqdadiyah in Diyala Governorate yesterday. The source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that " a brigadier general in the police was dismissed under the directives of the Ministry of Interior against the backdrop of the events of closing several departments in Muqdadiyah district, northeast of Baquba. He added that intensive investigations are currently underway to uncover the identities of the people who closed the departments in Muqdadiyah, and there are six people suspected of closing the departments.
