Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE President of Somaliland Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, who is visiting the country. The meeting focused on exchanging views on Somalia’s current developments and discussing the importance of supporting efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, both leaders deliberated on enhancing communication and building trust between the different parties involved in Somalia’s political landscape. HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to Somalia’s future, emphasizing the need for openness and constructive dialogue among all components to ensure respect for the sovereignty and national unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
