QAMCO’s Net Profits Rise by 21 Percent, Aamal Holding by 13.9 Percent

Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company (QAMCO) (a Qatari public shareholding company) increased by 21 percent in the first nine months of 2024 to reach QR 427.7 million, compared to QR 353.5 million in the same period last year. Figures issued by the company and posted on the Qatar Stock Exchange website Tuesday showed an increase in earnings per share to QR 0.077 for the third quarter of 2024, compared to earnings per share of QR 0.063 in the same period of the previous year. In the same context, the net profits of Aamal Holding Company (a Qatari public shareholding company) increased by 13.9 percent in the first nine months of this year to reach QR 302.4 million, compared to QR 265.4 million in the same period last year. Figures issued by the company showed an increase in earnings per share in the period ending September 30, 2024 to reach QR 0.048, compared to earnings per share of QR 0.042 in the same period of the previous year. On another note, Widam Food Company (a Qatari public shareholding company) reduced its net losses in the first nine months of 2024 to QR 7.3 million, compared to net losses of 59.3 percent in the same period last year. Figures issued by the company and posted on the Qatar Stock Exchange website showed a decrease in the loss per share to QR 0.04 in the period ending September 30, 2024, compared to a loss per share of QR 0.33 in the same period of the previous year.
