Cairo: Qatar Charity has announced the allocation of an additional USD 16 million to expand humanitarian interventions in the Gaza Strip. This strategic move was revealed in a speech by Qatar Charity’s CEO, Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, during a high-level event held by the State of Qatar in Cairo. The event focused on the collaborative efforts between Qatar and Egypt to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, emphasizing the ongoing humanitarian partnerships between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Kuwari highlighted that the newly allocated funds aim to broaden emergency assistance initiatives throughout Gaza. The focus will be on critical sectors including food, water, healthcare, and shelter to aid civilians affected by the ongoing conflict.
