Qatar Earns 4 Medals at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2021

The country inventors earned 4 medals (2 gold and 2 silver) at this year's Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2021, held remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to the participation of the delegation of the State of Qatar from the Qatar Scientific Club, there were 600 inventions from the world.

The two gold medal-winning inventions are a purification and air-breathing device and a wireless power-charging device. The two silver medal-winning inventions are a running guiding device for the blind, and a project of information privacy application in Arabic.

Mr. Abdulrahman Saleh Khamis, Deputy Executive Director of the Qatar Scientific Club, congratulated the successful innovators, stressing that the club is ready to provide them with the necessary support to ensure that these projects are implemented on the ground.
