Riyadh: Represented by Qatar Charity (QC), the State of Qatar actively participated in the fourth edition of the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum. The event took place in Riyadh, bringing together experts, donors, and specialists in humanitarian work from various countries worldwide.
According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation was led by Mohamed Al Ghamdi, Chief Governance and External Affairs Officer at Qatar Charity. In a statement, QC highlighted that the forum aimed at enhancing international cooperation and supporting efforts to improve humanitarian response and aid affected communities globally.
The forum provided Qatar Charity with the opportunity to stay updated on the latest trends in international humanitarian work through panel discussions, debates, and workshops. Additionally, it facilitated side meetings with representatives from global humanitarian organizations, fostering the exchange of experiences and strengthening collaboration.
Qatar Charity also participated in the exhibition organized as part of the forum. It showcased its efforts and significant accomplishments in humanitarian and development areas to the participants and guests.
Held over February 24-25, 2025, the forum gathered 150 global organizations and 300 international representatives for two days of discussions on aid delivery, humanitarian diplomacy, supply chains, and displacement amidst rising conflicts and disasters.
