Riyadh: The State of Qatar took part in an extraordinary meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministers of Interior, convened at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, representing HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force "Lekhwiya" Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
The agenda focused on enhancing joint Gulf security cooperation and strategizing collaborative efforts to tackle security challenges. This initiative aims to bolster regional security and stability.
Qatar reiterated its commitment to ongoing security coordination and integration among GCC member states, underscoring the need to address emerging developments and shared challenges.
