Qatar Holds Workshops on Emergency Safety in Educational Institutions

Doha: The General Directorate of Civil Defense is actively organizing awareness workshops focused on emergency safety guidelines for personnel within educational institutions throughout Qatar. These workshops aim to enhance preparedness and ensure the safety of staff and students in various educational settings.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Justice has announced the integration of a "Lessons Learned" program from judicial rulings into the Case Management System. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the legal work system and boost the efficiency of governmental bodies in managing litigation processes.

The State of Qatar has criticized the United Nations' report on human rights violations in Palestinian territories occupied since 1967. The report highlights issues such as arbitrary arrests, torture, and inhumane treatment by Israel. Qatar emphasized that these acts constitute a grave violation of international law and described them as war crimes and a stain on humanity.

In diplomatic developments, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Poland, Saoud bin Abdullah Zaid Al Mahmoud, took part in a meeting organized by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski. The meeting was attended by several Arab ambassadors accredited to Warsaw, aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties.

Additionally, the United Nations Human Rights Council is set to hold an urgent debate on Iran's military actions against several countries, including Qatar, which have resulted in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure.

In regional diplomatic communications, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman discussed Middle Eastern developments with King Abdullah II of Jordan and French President Emmanuel Macron. These discussions aimed to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations and address regional tensions.

Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, expressed readiness to host negotiations to facilitate peace in the Middle East, indicating a proactive role in conflict resolution.

Kuwait's Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems detected numerous ballistic missiles and hostile drones within its airspace over the past day. Meanwhile, the country's Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy successfully reinstated four electric power transmission grids after technical assessments.

Lastly, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported an increase in casualties due to Israeli aggression, with 1,072 deaths and 2,966 injuries recorded.
