The Qatar Media Corporation won several awards during the 16th edition of the Gulf Radio and Television Festival held in Manama. Qatar Television's Hirat won the Golden Sail Award for the environmental programs category, Itqan claimed the Silver Sail Award for the cultural programs category and the Darb Lusail won the Silver Sail Award for the quiz programs category. Qatar Radio won the Golden Sail Award in the talk show category for the program On the Banks of Doha, the Silver Sail Award in the comedy drama category for the program Juha's Tales, and the Silver Sail Award in the environmental programs category for the program No to Desertification. This year's Gulf Radio and Television Festival featured a competition of 360 entries, including 80 drama works. Source: Qatar News Agency
