Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has released its latest deposit rates across a range of currencies, revealing the interest rates applicable for different tenures. These rates, issued on Thursday, are crucial for investors and account holders looking to maximize their returns on deposits.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD, JPY, CHF, and GBP vary depending on the duration of the deposit. For USD deposits, the rates range from 4.36310 for a 1-month deposit to 3.80259 for a 12-month deposit. JPY deposits offer a rate of 0.40000 for 1 month, increasing to 0.55000 for 12 months. CHF rates start at -0.12000 for 1 month and adjust slightly to -0.12000 for 12 months. GBP deposit rates begin at 3.96000 for 1 month and rise to 4.15000 for a 12-month term.
For regional currencies such as QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, the rates also demonstrate a structured fluctuation. QAR deposits start at 4.85000 for 1 month and decrease gradually to 4.45000 for 12 months. SAR deposits begin at 4.90000 for 1 month, rising slightly for longer durations up to 5.10000 for 6 months before slightly decreasing to 5.05000 for 12 months. AED deposit rates range from 2.05000 for 1 month to 3.15000 for a 12-month period. BHD rates are consistent, starting at 5.00000 for 1 month, with a slight drop to 4.50000 for 12 months.
