Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has issued its latest deposit rates for various currencies as of Monday. These rates are applicable for terms ranging from one month to twelve months, covering a wide array of currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD range from 3.65788% for one month to 3.70015% for twelve months. The Japanese Yen (JPY) saw rates starting at 0.70000% for one month, increasing to 1.15000% for a twelve-month term. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates begin at -0.17000% for a one-month term and rise to 0.15000% for twelve months. The British Pound (GBP) rates start at 3.67000% for one month and reach 4.60000% for a twelve-month deposit.
For local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) rates start at 4.04930% for one month and decrease to 3.86337% for a twelve-month term. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) maintains a consistent rate of 4.30000% from the two-month term onwards. The UAE Dirham (AED) rates start at 2.05000% for one month and increase to 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates start at 4.60000% for one month and decrease to 4.10000% for a twelve-month deposit.
