Qatar National Bank Announces Updated Deposit Rates for Various Currencies

Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as follows.

According to Qatar News Agency, the latest figures indicate the interest rates for multiple currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

For the US Dollar (USD), the deposit rates are set at 3.65173% for one month (1M), 3.65941% for two months (2Ms), 3.66709% for three months (3Ms), 3.67925% for six months (6Ms), and 3.68343% for twelve months (12Ms).

In terms of the Japanese Yen (JPY), a consistent rate of 0.70000% is maintained for one, two, and three months. The rate increases slightly to 0.85000% for six months and further to 1.18000% for a twelve-month deposit.

For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates are negative for shorter terms with -0.14000% for one month, -0.05000% for two months, and -0.06000% for three months, turning positive with 0.02000% for six months and reaching 0.15000% for twelve months.

The British Pound (GBP) sees rates at 3.81000% for one month, increasing progressively to 3.88000% for two months, 3.99000% for three months, 4.05000% for six months, and peaking at 4.50000% for a twelve-month deposit.

For the Qatari Riyal (QAR), the rates are 4.04907% for one month, slightly decreasing to 4.01823% for two months, 4.02070% for three months, 3.97400% for six months, and 3.85853% for twelve months.

The Saudi Riyal (SAR) deposit rates are set at 4.50000% for one month, decreasing to 4.30000% for two, six, and twelve months, with a slight increase to 4.40000% for a three-month deposit.

For the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), the rates are 2.05000% for one month, 2.15000% for two months, 2.40000% for three months, 2.85000% for six months, and 3.15000% for a twelve-month deposit.

Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates are 4.60000% for one month, reducing to 4.50000% for two months, 4.40000% for three months, 4.30000% for six months, and further down to 4.10000% for twelve months.
