Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been announced, providing insights into the interest rates across various currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD.

According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates begin at 3.62852 for a 1-month term and increase to 3.74928 for a 12-month term. The JPY rates start at 0.70000 for terms up to 3 months and rise to 1.17000 for a 12-month term. For CHF, the rates start at -0.10000 for a 1-month deposit and reach 0.15000 for a 12-month term. GBP rates range from 3.65000 for 1-month deposits to 4.65000 for 12-month deposits.

In terms of regional currencies, the QAR deposit rates start at 4.06115 for a 1-month term and decrease to 3.93260 for a 12-month term. SAR deposit rates remain relatively stable, ranging from 4.30000 to 4.50000 across all terms. AED deposit rates begin at 2.05000 for a 1-month term and increase to 3.15000 for a 12-month term. Lastly, BHD deposit rates range from 4.52000 for 1-month deposits to 4.66000 for 6-month deposits before slightly decreasing to 4.63000 for 12-month deposits.
