DOHA: The third edition of the Qatar Open Padel Championship wrapped up at the Khalifa International Complex, with approximately 150 players participating in the week-long event. Javier Navarro and Nacho Oteo claimed victory in the men's category (A), while Rashid and Meshari Nawaf secured the second position. According to Qatar News Agency, Tariq Zainal, Secretary General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel and Badminton Federation, emphasized the tournament's significance in advancing the sport of Padel in Qatar. He noted that the event aligns with the Federation's broader vision to promote Padel both locally and internationally. Zainal congratulated the winners for their impressive performances and reaffirmed the Federation's commitment to organizing similar tournaments in the future. This effort aims to support Qatari players and contribute to the growth and dissemination of Padel in Qatar.
