Qatar Participates in Conference on Chemical Security, Emerging Threats in Amman

Amman: The State of Qatar is taking part in the 5th Annual Global Conference on Chemical Security and Emerging Threats 2025, which is being held in Amman, Jordan from May 5-8. The conference focuses on addressing current concerns and strategies related to chemical security and the challenges posed by emerging threats.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation from Qatar’s Ministry of Interior is led by Colonel Saqr Khamis Al Kubaisi, the Director of the Capital Security Department. The event aims to provide a platform for discussing the development of preventive policies and tools. It also focuses on improving rapid response mechanisms to address chemical hazards and supports efforts to boost chemical security at both regional and international levels.
