Geneva: The Chairperson of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC), Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah, has affirmed that the State of Qatar places a significant emphasis on children’s rights. By monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and ratified protocols, Qatar has ensured equal access to education and the highest standards of healthcare for children and adolescents.
