The State of Qatar ranked fourth globally in the field of providing digital government services to citizens and residents, thanks to its adoption of a comprehensive digital transformation map and an integrated strategy to confront the repercussions of the spread of the emerging coronavirus pandemic, as revealed by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in its report "Digital Government in the Gulf Region" for the exceptional capabilities, superior performance, and advanced efficiency demonstrated by Qatar in the field of digital transformation.
The study shows that the level of satisfaction of digital government services in Qatar is on par with the averages of developing countries (58 percent). The digital service offering in Qatar has been met with a positive response, with the country’s citizens placed highly in terms of frequency of access. In total, (53%) of Qatari respondents revealed they use digital government services at least once per week, (6%) above the global average.
