Qatar Secures Six Medals in Archery at GCC Games

Doha: Qatar's archery team claimed six medals, including three golds, on the final day of the archery competition at the GCC Games Doha 2026. The team showcased remarkable performance across various events.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar triumphed in the mixed compound and mixed recurve team events, along with Reem Al Saai's victory in the women's individual recurve competition, earning gold. The team also achieved three bronze medals in the women's individual compound, men's compound team, and women's recurve team events.

With these accomplishments, Qatar dominated the shooting and archery standings, finishing with a total of 26 medals, including 12 golds. They outperformed Saudi Arabia and the UAE to secure the top position in the overall medal count.
