Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has extended condolences to Japan’s HM Emperor Naruhito and HE Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba following the passing of former Japanese Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama. Likewise, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani sent messages of sympathy to the Japanese leadership.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani also reached out to Japan’s Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba to express his condolences over the loss of Murayama. This gesture underscores Qatar’s commitment to its diplomatic relations with Japan.
In other news, the Qatari government has been actively engaging in initiatives to boost local sectors. HE Minister of Sports and Youth Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani announced a ministerial decision to reduce fees for services and licenses, aimed at enhancing investment opportunities within the sports domain.
The Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, held talks with the French Ambassador to Qatar, Arnaud Pescheux, as part of ongoing diplomatic engagements.
