Ms. Noura Ahmed Al Yafei, Head of the University Books Department of the Student Services Department at Qatar University (QU), revealed the activation of the optional service for home delivery of textbooks, in cooperation with Qatar Post. This step comes as part of the precautionary measures taken by QU to limit the spread of the Coronavirus, as any delay in receiving books can affect the academic success and educational attainment of the student.
Al Yafei said that the service is available to all university students on the self-service system, where the student can find out the details of the service, the application mechanism, and fees, by entering the university books section page on the university's website. She added that students wishing to receive books directly from the Department need to submit an electronic request to book an appointment in order to maintain social distancing and avoid overcrowding.
