The Qatar youth handball team secured a 50-36 victory over India on Saturday in a match determining the rankings from ninth to 13th in the 18th Asian Youth Handball Championship. The tournament is taking place in Amman, Jordan, and will continue until July 25, serving as a qualifier for the 2025 World Championship in Poland. Qatar's player Rayan Dridi was named the best player of the match, showcasing a strong and impressive performance that led to the team's decisive win. The Qatari team will conclude their matches on Tuesday with a face-off against Chinese Taipei. During the group stage, the Qatar youth handball team ranked third in Group D with 3 points. They drew with Japan (25-25) in their first match, lost to Korea (24-33) in the second round, and won against Chinese Taipei (29-26) in their third match. The top four teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2025 World Championship in Poland.
