Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Pre-University Education (PUE), organized the second edition of the Leading Educational Advancement through Progressive Schools (LEAPS) summit, with the participation of elite school founders, experts and teachers from Qatar and the world.
During the three-day summit, the participants stressed the need to build a generation of creative thinkers to confront difficult situations in a rapidly changing world, while promoting a culture of empathy with others, especially among young people. They also discussed the future of education and learning in schools around the world, through presentations, talks and workshops.
The participants talked about the concept of "Education Reimagined", through programming languages that allow young people to create interactive stories, games and animations, and then share their creativity with each other in an online community, through which they learn technical programming skills and many mathematical concepts and express their ideas.
