Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC), part of Qatar Foundation for Education Science and Community Development, is to launch the sixth edition of its national campaign, Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW), from October 23-30.

QSW aims to raise environmental awareness among members of society, as well as highlight the progress made by the country in this field. It also aims to provide individuals and community groups with innovative and practical solutions to address the environmental challenges facing Qatar and the region, in order to promote the adoption of more sustainable lifestyles.

QSW is also a unique platform to engage stakeholders in the public and private sectors under a comprehensive umbrella, in order to link different sustainability practices and transform conversations into action. The event includes a number of conferences, awareness sessions, exhibitions, guided tours, educational and entertainment events, and activities and initiatives that serve the public interest.
