Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) highlighted the importance of its regional and global projects in meeting the needs of refugees in conflict areas by providing in-kind and cash assistance, alongside educational and developmental support. Addressing a lecture tackling the QRCS's strategy for economic and educational empowerment, HE Secretary-General of QRCS Faisal Mohamed Al Emadi highlighted the organization's many facets of humanitarian aid and excellent work to improve life in the most vulnerable communities. His Excellency also shared QRCS's strategy to support vulnerable people economically and educationally. The lecture is part of the Dean's Lecture Series, in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a partner university of Qatar Foundation (QF). Al Emadi touched upon the environmental dimension of QRCS's projects, explaining how the organization strives to provide sustainable assistance for communities in need. Dean of CMU-Q, Michael Trick shared his vision and insight s into QRCS's humanitarian efforts. He valued the QRCS's efforts and projects, which aim to alleviate the suffering of victims of war and disasters. The Dean's Lecture Series hosts industry leaders and senior officials from government institutions, the private sector, humanitarian organizations, and academic circles to share their unique perspectives.
