QSE Index Closes Lower as 33 Companies See Decline

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Wednesday, declining by 20.94 points, or 0.19 percent, to reach 11,006.6 points. During the session, a total of 115,475,059 shares were traded, with a value of QR 316,536,816.437, through 18,480 transactions across all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 17 companies rose during the session, while 33 companies saw their stocks decline. Two companies maintained their previous closing price. At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 655,951,688,022.792, compared to QR 656,917,846,580.594 in the previous session.
