QSE Index Drops 42.14 Points at Start of Trading

The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 42.14 points, or 0.42%, at the beginning of Thursday's trading to reach the level of 9,912 points, compared to yesterday's closing.

The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in Real Estate by 0.77%; Bank and Financial Services by 0.60%; Industrials by 0.44%; Transportation rose by 0.44%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.18%, and Insurance by 0.05%. Only Telecoms rose by 0.01%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,566 transactions worth QR 69.529 million, distributed to 31.271 million shares.
