Doha: The gains achieved by Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index increased, supported by all sectors, at the beginning of Tuesday's trading session by 1.14% to add 116.36 points and rise to 10,336 points compared to the closing of Monday's session.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE attributed the rise in the general index to the positive performance of the transport sector by 2.30%, the banking and financial services sector by 1.34%, the industrial sector by 0.96%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.63%, the insurance sector by 0.55%, the real estate sector by 0.27%, and the communications sector by 0.04%.

At around 10:00 am, QSE recorded 2,997 transactions worth QR82.222 million, distributed over 34.449 million shares.
