Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of today's trading by 11.87 points, with a growth rate of 0.11 percent, to reach the level of 10,697 points.
The rise is ascribed to the positive performance of the industrial sector by 0.25 percent, the insurance sector by 0.24 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 0.14 percent, the transport sector by 0.08 percent, and the real estate sector by 0.06 percent.
On the other hand, the performance was stable for the consumer goods and services sector by 0.00 percent. The telecom sector saw a 0.88-percent decline.
At 10:00 am, the QSE recorded transactions worth QR 79.296 million distributed over 32.713 million shares in 2.769 deals. (QNA)
