Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced an increase of 0.11% at the commencement of trading on Monday, recording a gain of 11.55 points which brought the index to 10,848, compared to the previous session’s close.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data indicated gains in several sectors, with Consumer Goods and Services rising by 0.49%, Transportation by 0.17%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.13%. Conversely, declines were observed in the Insurance sector, which fell by 0.34%, Real Estate by 0.26%, Telecoms by 0.06%, and Industrials by 0.05%.
By 10:00 am, the QSE reported a turnover of QR 34.360 million, with 14.811 million shares traded across 2,659 transactions.
