Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded today's trading session with a modest increase, rising by 35.04 points or 0.34 percent to close at 10,455.08 points. According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed the trading of 133,488,422 shares, amounting to a total value of QR 387,219,100.568 across 16,426 transactions. The trading activity was distributed across multiple sectors, reflecting a dynamic market environment. Among the companies listed, 23 saw their shares appreciate, while 25 experienced a decline in share prices, and one company remained unchanged from its previous closing price. This mixed performance highlights the varied responses within the market to ongoing economic conditions. By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization increased to QR 619,509,921,510.530, up from QR 618,402,774,123.570 in the previous session, indicating a positive overall sentiment in the market.
