Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 9.42 points, or 0.09%, at the start of trading on Thursday, to reach the level of 10,424 points, compared to yesterday's closing, with backed by four sectors. QSE's figures showed a positive performance in the Banks and Financial Services by 0.43%; Telecoms by 0.29%; Transportation by 0.15% and Real Estate by 0.11%. However, the index saw a decline in Insurance by 0.11%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.19%; and Industrials by 0.30%. By 10:00 am, 29.976 million shares were traded in 2,113 transactions valued QR 63.290 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
