DOHA: The Qatar Stock Exchange index concluded its latest trading session with a modest increase, climbing by 17.77 points, or 0.17 percent, to reach a level of 10,528.65 points. This session saw a substantial trading volume, with over 165 million shares exchanged, contributing to a total transaction value exceeding QR 403 million. According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session was marked by the execution of 14,389 transactions spanning all sectors. The market saw a mixed performance among the listed companies, with shares of 36 companies experiencing gains, while 10 companies faced declines. Meanwhile, six companies ended the session with their stock prices unchanged. Market capitalization also experienced a slight increase, closing at QR 622.49 billion, up from QR 620.75 billion at the previous session's close. This session's performance reflects a continued positive trend in the market, as investors remain engaged across various sectors.
