The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange rose 97.61 points, 0.99%, to reach the level of 9,933 points at the beginning of trading on Tuesday compared to yesterday's closing.

The positive performance of QSE general index was supported by a rise in all sectors: Consumer Goods and Services by 1.72%; Real Estate by 1.30%; Industrials by 1.14%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.92%; Transportation by 0.62%; Insurance by 0.39%; and Telecoms by 0.31%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 4,324 transactions worth QR 146.664 million, distributed to 68.002 million shares.
