Qatar Social Work (QSW) Foundation signed last Thursday, October 6, 2022 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with World Enabled organization, which aims at implementing innovative and effective programs in many areas, reaching Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), creating digital inclusion, and keeping pace with overall urban developments.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Foundation’s participation in the events of the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) 2022, and as part of joint cooperation between the two parties, bolstering the capabilities of the overall design of smart cities, consulting over social policy, and integrating into the society.
Ms. Laalei Abu Alfain, the Executive Director of the Shafallah Center, said: “The agreement is in line with the Foundation’s strategy seeking to develop policies, advocate the rights of PWDs and benefit from the experience of international entities, including World Enabled.”
