Diyala Governorate recorded the first death from hemorrhagic fever during the current year.
The Director of the veterinary hospital in Diyala, Ibtisam Muhammad, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a young man from the western regions of Baquba city died due to complications from hemorrhagic fever, which is the first case this year.
She added that the deceased owned a sheep farm in the Umm Al-Azm area, southwest of Baquba, and that all preventive measures were taken through a joint team in terms of spraying the barn and insects. Indicated, a decision was taken to ban the transfer of herds of cattle and sheep from this area
