Federal Police forces raised and destroyed war remnants found within the Samarra Operations Sector.
The Ministry of the Interior stated in a statement: “Within the framework of the efforts made by units of the Fourth Division of the Federal Police in clearing the areas of war remnants of terrorist gangs, the detachments of the 13th Brigade and the 16th Brigade carried out searches on Makaishifa Island and Al-Ruwayiyah area, during which (6 different mortar rounds and an Austrian projectile) were found and destroyed by engineering effort detachments.
