Under the auspices of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) organised a trip to holy Mecca and Madina for its affiliates, including widows and orphans, where they performed Umrah.
RHF Secretary-General, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, lauded the fatherly care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RHF’s Honorary President, and the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the RHF’s affiliates, praising HH Shaikh Nasser’s leadership of the Foundation’s humanitarian work.
Dr. Al-Sayed indicated that the Umrah trip was organised based on HM the King’s directives, and the leadership of HH Shaikh Nasser, noting that the RHF implements this programme annually, as part of its integrated services to its sponsored families. He also expressed thanks to those who contributed to the trip.
The Umrah trip, in which 24 RHF affiliates participated, also featured visits to Mecca and other religious sites and events.
