Russia and China conduct joint maneuvers in Russia’s Far East

Russia announced that two Chinese ships arrived in Vladivostok in Russia's Far East to conduct joint maneuvers with it, in a new indication of the rapprochement between Moscow and Beijing. The local representation of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement: Two Chinese Coast Guard ships are in Vladivostok "from September 16 to 20 at the invitation of the Russian Border Guard." The two ships will participate in Russian-Chinese maneuvers and will conduct joint patrols, according to the same source.
