Russia announces the killing of 1,590 Ukrainian soldiers and the downing of 55 drones during the past 24 hours

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that the losses of the Ukrainian army amounted to about 1,590 soldiers during the past 24 hours. The Russian Ministry said in its daily report on the course of the war, that its forces improved their positions on the Kharkiv fronts in northeastern Ukraine, and repelled attacks by Ukrainian forces there. The Russian army also improved its positions on the Luhansk and Donetsk axes in eastern Ukraine, while targeting Ukrainian army sites and equipment on the Zaporozhye and Kherson axes in the south." The Russian Defense Ministry indicated that its forces hit gatherings of troops and military equipment of the Ukrainian forces in 118 regions, destroyed 55 drones, and shot down 10 shells from HIMARS and Olkha rocket launchers, two French-made HAMMER guided bombs, in addition to two Patriot anti-aircraft guided missiles.
