Russia announces the killing of more than 8,500 Ukrainian soldiers and the control of two towns in Donetsk

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Sunday, that the losses of Ukrainian forces during an attempt to penetrate Russian territory on the Kursk axis amounted to more than 8,500 soldiers. The Ministry stated in a statement that its air defense units destroyed 158 drones launched by Ukraine during the night, including nine drones over Moscow and the surrounding areas. On the other hand, the ministry indicated that the Russian army took control of two new towns, /Ptychi/ and /Vymka/ in the /Donetsk/ province in eastern Ukraine. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
