Moscow, Russia announced that its air defense units intercepted 20 Ukrainian drones Monday night in the area located on the southern border with Ukraine. Ukrainian forces attacked four villages in the Kursk, using drones and helicopters, but there were no reports of casualties, Governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, added on Telegram. In the Belgorod region to the southeast, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that air defense units shot down several airborne targets, causing damage to the roofs of some residences. Since the outbreak of the war between the two countries, both Moscow and Kyiv have been announcing losses inflicted by each side on the other, without being able to independently confirm the information, in light of the continuing confrontations for about three years.
