Russia pledged, today, Thursday, to shoot down any F-16 fighters delivered to Ukraine, stressing that these fighters will have no impact on the war. Dmitry Peskov, Spokesman for the Russian presidency /Kremlin/, said in press statements, "The number of F-16 fighters will be shot down gradually," downplaying their impact on the course of military operations and the course of events on the front.
