The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that the losses of the Ukrainian army during the past 24 hours amounted to more than 1,845 soldiers, in various areas on the fighting axes. The Russian Defense ministry explained, in its daily report on the conduct of military operations in Ukraine, that Russian air defense systems shot down, within one day, 62 Ukrainian drones, 14 HIMARs rocket-propelled grenades, in addition to 3 Hummer guided bombs. The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that its forces launched an intensive strike on energy sites used by military industries in Ukraine, and also struck a group of specialists concerned with setting flight missions for attack drones. For its part, the Ukrainian authorities announced that energy infrastructure facilities in 5 provinces were bombed last night, adding that "critical damage" was caused to the equipment of two hydroelectric power plants. Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galoshenko said earlier today, Saturday, that the facilit ies targeted by Russia, located in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zaporizhya, were attacked, while other civilian targets were damaged in the operation. The Russian daily report added that the Russian army was able to repel a number of Ukrainian attacks on the towns of Staritsa and Volchansk in Kharkov Province, and Russian forces also launched a collective strike with high-precision, long-range air and sea weapons against Ukrainian energy facilities.
