Russian forces were able to control a town in Donetsk province on Friday. A statement by the Russian Defense Ministry stated that combat operations carried out by units of the "Center" group of the Russian Armed Forces were able to liberate the town of Marinovka, affiliated with Donetsk. The statement added that over the course of a week, the losses of Ukrainian forces in this direction amounted to about 3,880 soldiers, 15 armored combat vehicles, including two armored personnel carriers of the "M113" model, 27 vehicles, and 44 field guns, in addition to repelling about 67 attacks by Ukrainian forces.
